Week 58 Letter from Sorella Hills

Ciao famiglia!

It sounds like such a blast! I've wanted to see all of those movies 😁 I miss those Klondike girls' nights! Haha, so fun 😄.

We are teaching some really cool people. One is the friend of a member.  She was not progressing, so we put her on pause for a bit, and then all of a sudden, she came to church! She has been coming almost every week, and wants to be baptized, just has a problem with the word of wisdom.  She is amazing, and the ward loves and supports her so well!

My rose of the week is that an investigator I taught last time I was in Ostia has come back! Not sure of you remember her.  BTW, I have returned to the same city that I was in during my 4th transfer, that never happens here! But, yeah.  She also sort of disappeared for a while, and didn't want anything to do with the church.  But, her life has gotten really difficult, and she has seen the difference the gospel made in her life, and wants to work towards baptism again! I'm really excited for her 😄.

Then, there is a part member family.  We are teaching the 2 nonmember sons aged 12 and 13.  The father is really Catholic, so it is hard, and the member mom works on Sundays.  So.  We are working on getting them rides to church, because that's the only thing holding them back.  They would be baptized to day if they just came to church enough times!

But yeah, it has been amazing here, I love Ostia! I love my mission more than ever.  Tonight, I get my transfer call, and I believe I'll be staying, but stay tuned for my new companion!

Not sure about a thorn... well, actually there has been some district drama which has been less then ideal, but, yeah. I have NOT bitten my nails since the beginning of the year! I've cut them shortish, but they have not been bitten, nor the skin thanks to Burts Bees :)

A testimony building moment would be our investigator that returned. She saw the difference in her life without the gospel, and missed it.  She wants to change her life completely, and that is a testimony to me that this gospel can change lives! It's so true people, so true😄

I love you all!
